Feeling Safer?

Oh, sure, just a coincidence. There is no too low for Rumsfeld, et.al.
The Navy lawyer who led a successful Supreme Court challenge of the Bush administration’s military tribunals for detainees at Guantanamo Bay has been passed over for promotion and will have to leave the military, The Miami Herald reported Sunday.
Oh, yeah, there's also this tidbit.
North Korea today announced it had carried out a successful underground nuclear test, following through on a threat issued last week and defying repeated calls from around the world to stand down.
As Atrios says Heckuva job, Bushie.

I believe that attorney's name is Swift. Anyone who had anything to do with what happened to him should be sent to getmo. Freakin' shame!

Today I have heard all sorts of stuff about that North Korea deal. It seems to be, according to some, anything from a robust fart to a earthquake. One reporter said now they could arm a missile with a nuke and another said what they tested was so large it wouldn't even fit inside a plane. So who the hell knows what they really did.

(kidding about the robust fart but all the rest is stuff I really heard today)

Every two bit leader in the world can thumb their nose at Bush with no fear of reprisal because he has screwed things up so badly that he (Bush) can't take any action. This is the result of the good people of our country electing cowards to lead us.
