Jeez Louise

Via Holden over at First Draft, we get the head fool of America saying this:

It may sound far-fetched to some that one of these days we'll be making a product that can go into a Ford pickup truck out of wood chips, and you'll be able to drive just like it was full of gasoline, but those days are around the corner.

I'd say he has gone around the corner.

& we all wish he'd stop.

I remember seeing a pickup truck fueled by woodchips in a Fourth of July parade a number of years ago. It was sponsored by two friends of Mr Creek. Mark and Eric. Maybe this isn't so farfetched after all.

Any biomass resource can be converted into liquid fuel (oil or gas, not "gasoline") for powering a vehicle. He didn't say the truck would burn wood chips.
