Obit here. I remember well his important essays on the war in Vietnam & Muhammad Ali, who, BTW, IMHO, is one of the greatest people to ever have lived. Someday I'll post about my young life tuning in some Chicago radio station on am AM radio in my family's kitchen trying to get to listen to his fights. This occurred in far northern Wisco.
