Favre retires.
The noted anti-professional sports guy, Shutterwi was the author of the text message. I am unhappy, of course, that he did not use several exclamation marks after that great name Favre, as in "Farve!!!!!!!!!!retires." That would have been appropriate since it appears that indeed Brett Favre has retired.
